Lecken is a Berlin-based queer-feminist collective who organises raves with a commitment to collective transformation through pleasure, dance, and community. We started collaborating in 2019 as they sought an online space that could excite their audience, announce upcoming events, as well as showcase the broad body of knowledge they reference and produce. After reviewing the material they’d already produced, we decided to create separate sections for rave announcements, resident DJ profiles, a photo archive, and a reading corner, accompanied of course with an about and contact page. Each rave has its separate page, featuring promotion material like sticker artworks, lineups and announcement texts. A parallel archive gathers pictures taken at the event, which lets users revisit the party’s electric atmosphere. The colours and overall theme are inspired by the club’s typical dark setting with colourful lighting and flashing strobes.
