Ripples is a series of sonic explorations composed of sampled field recordings. The sound palettes are weaved to elicit a sense of tension, dread and anxiety, as well as moments of relief, excitement and joy. Each track is a work in progress. Using generative processes and algorithmic composition techniques, the pieces can evolve and reshape into new formations over time. Ripples was created under my experimental music project Collective Anxiety. With Collective Anxiety, I invite audiences to a moment of introspection and emotional connection. The stories I compose explore timbre, texture, and rhythm to form evolving ambient compositions.
